County Humane Society at 1855 Windish Drive, Galesburg. The
Shelter is the only state-licensed Animal Shelter in Knox County
and operates as a not-for-profit organization dedicated to

Adopt-A-Pet
Animals who are available for adoption can be viewed at the PAWC Monday
through Saturday from Noon until 4 pm at the Animal Shelter.
In addition, we offer an ADOPT-A-PET at Sandburg Mall, Bergner's Court, 1150
W. Carl Sandburg Drive on the second Saturday of each month from 9 am until
3 pm. We will have several of our animals available for adoption at this
event.
We also hold a Sunday ADOPT-A-PET on the third Sunday of each month at the
PAWC Shelter at 1855 Windish Drive, Galesburg from Noon until 3 pm.
